📺 Friday Morning Fever – The Colts Take Over Channel 12!
What an exciting day for Cortez! We were thrilled to be selected by 12 News to participate in Friday Morning Fever and showcase the amazing spirit and talent of our Cortez community!
Our campus was buzzing with excitement as students from across several programs came together to represent the Colts.
Our students had the opportunity to perform live on television, show off their talents, and even be interviewed by the news reporter. It was a fantastic opportunity to highlight the incredible programs, school pride, and school spirit that make Cortez so special.
It was definitely an early morning, with our Colts kicking things off at 5:00 AM on Friday! While the alarm clocks may have gone off a little earlier than usual, it was absolutely worth it. Seeing our students, staff, and community come together and watching our Colts shine LIVE on television was a moment to remember!
And the excitement didn't stop there! We wrapped up the evening with an incredible football victory over Fountain Hills, bringing home a 42–6 WIN!
What a way to finish an unforgettable Friday! We are so proud of our students, coaches, sponsors, and everyone who came out to represent Cortez. Once again, our Colts showed everyone what school pride, teamwork, and community spirit look like!
🏆 Cortez Earns Another “A” Rating!
We are proud to announce that Cortez High School has once again earned an “A” rating from the Arizona State Board of Education!
This achievement reflects the hard work of our students, the dedication of our educators and staff, and the continued support of our families and community.
