For some students, the Learning Center is a place to get that extra help on their school work and a snack to satisfy afternoon cravings. For others, it is a place to relax and work on homework with friends.  Six adult paraprofessionals work the Learning Center. Most of these paraprofessionals have worked in the Learning Center for over ten years and have teaching degrees or are working on their teaching degrees.  The Learning Center is overseen by the Title I Coordinator (Mrs. Bray) who has taught English at Cortez for nine years.
