Poetry (Svardale)

Calling all poets,

Calling all poets.

If you are a poet and didn't know it

or a lover of letters who strings words together,

time's flying by,

don't be left on the side.

This rhyme's almost through

and the poems soon are due

Valentine's Day is your last chance to play

write those poems write away

like, seriously, today.

*Any student interested in entering the illustrious district poetry contest should submit their original works of poetry to their English teacher by Friday, February 14th*
