Jose G. Corona has been at Cortez since 2001, where he began his career as a Spanish Language teacher. In 2003 he became the schools "Computer Coordinator,"  a title that has been renamed "I.T. Coordinator" due to the fact "computers" are only a tiny fraction of the technology department's scope.  He taught Drivers Ed for several years and is currently a coach in the Cortez Softball program. Wright has a bachelor's degree in English Education from Arizona State University and Masters Degree in Educational Technology from Northern Arizona University.
