He has taught chemistry and accelerated chemistry since he started at Cortez. He has a bachelor's degree from Arizona State in secondary education with an emphasis in Chemistry. Currently, he is completing his Masters in Natural Sciences through Arizona State University. This degree focuses on improving physics and chemistry education in high school.
