Ms.Treat has been at Cortez High School since 1996, where she continues her career as a Special Education teacher in the Life Skills Program. She is involved with Special Olympics, CS Club, Careers/Work Experience on and off campus, Spiritline, and is the current department chairperson for the Special Education department. She received her Bachelors of Science degree from Central State University in Oklahoma in 1977.  She continues to work on a Master's Degree in Special Education and Educational Administration. Ms. Treat has been teaching in the GUHSD for 28 years.
