Operations & Resources: Mr. Rob Ambrose (Email)I was born here in Phoenix and have lived here since. I am a graduate of Apollo High School, class of 1989. I came back to the Glendale Union High School District as a Title One instructional aide at Apollo High School in 1995. I graduated from Ottawa University and began teaching at Cortez in 1997. I taught Career and Technical Education classes including Metalworking, Woodworking, Drafting, Automotives and Introtech for seven years. During that time, I finished my M.A. in Educational Leadership through Northern Arizona University. In 2005, I went to Sunnyslope High School to serve as Assistant Principal for Discipline and Attendance. I came back to Cortez in 2006. It is a pleasure to work with the dedicated faculty and staff who make Cortez High School great.
